Awful Day Ever
It all started with the case of uncontrollable hair. I couldn't do it to look presentable. As I was getting ready out the door, I stumbled and dropped my lunch all over the floor. To make matters worse, I was totally late for work.

A series/chain/cascade of unfortunate/awful/disastrous events unfolded/occurred/piled on top each other, leaving me feeling like I was in a nightmare/horror movie/comedy of errors. It's the kind of situation where you just want to run away and hide.
